C.O. Mollenhour Conservation Camp Boy's: July 12-17~~Girl's: July 19-24

Camp Mollenhour's facilities are truly unique-an ideal setting for a very special educational experience. Established in 1938 by the conservation clubs in the local area, this outstanding camp has been perpetuated by the clubs remaining active and by local organizations. Now lead by a dedicated council of volunteers (see the List of Board Members link to read about these people), C.O. Mollenhour Conservation Camp is expanding programs and providing greater facilities to serve even more young people as environmental awareness and conservation become increasingly critical to future generations.

MAJOR GOALS OF CAMP MOLLENHOUR

Developing an environmental awareness-The camp setting on McClure Lake is kept primarily in its natural state. Campers are taught to plant with purpose. There is a focus on the ecological systems including shoreline development.
Acquiring and strengthening a range of outdoor skills including fishing, hunting safety, boating safety, lake management, camping, swimming, and aquatic biology including the identification of fish species.
Enjoying recreational activities such as fishing, archery, and firearms responsibility with emphasis on teamwork and leadership.
Developing respect for important components of society such as Law Enforcement and the Conservation Department through interaction and involvement.
Promoting true sportsmanship in every possible way.

Support Camp Mollenhour by sponsoring a young person at a summer session, by making a tax deductible contribution to Camp Mollenhour or to the Kosciusko County Foundation designated for the C.O. Mollenhour Conservation Camp Endowment Fund, or by volunteering your time to assist at camp sessions.
